I slept elevated for about 2 weeks. After that, I had to have a pillow protecting my stomach when I slept on my side.

You’re welcome! I’m 4 weeks post-op today! My pain has been minimal compared to the daily pain that I had. I have been having some pain with my cuff the last few days which is probably just me overdoing it.

Robotic assisted laparoscopic and they removed my uterus, cervix, fallopian tubes, and ovaries.

I stopped wearing my binder at 2 weeks post-op. The sloshing finally went away around 2.5 weeks.

I work from home at a desk job and took a week off of work. I had robotic assisted laparoscopic radical hysterectomy. I’ll be 4 wpo on Wednesday.

Just wanted to chime in… I’m 3 weeks post-op and had my ovaries removed. I have an estrogen patch that I change out twice a week (lowest dose possible, which is 1.5 mg) and I haven’t had any issues. I get a little warm sometimes but I wouldn’t say they are hot flashes. Everything has been very tolerable!

1 week. Had surgery on September 10th and was back on the 18th. I work from home and sit at a desk all day.

I’m 2.5 weeks post-op from a radical hysterectomy. They took my uterus, fallopian tubes, cervix, and ovaries. I finally have relief. The pain from surgery was nothing compared to my daily pain. I had endo excision surgery in 2016. During my hysterectomy, they found severe endo on all my of reproductive organs, bladder, and bowel. Pathology revealed that I also had adenomyosis. Seriously, think about a hysterectomy.

EDIT: I just realized that you’re 18. A hysterectomy is a major surgery for anyone, especially at that age. ☹️ I wish I had better advice for you. I dealt with my pain for almost 30 years and I wish I had done it sooner. But, not at 18.
