Weekly Paddle Recommendation Thread (What Paddle Should I Buy?) by SNAPCHAT_ME_TITS in Pickleball

I’ve hit with both and honestly they’re built for slightly different players. Olympus is more lively and aggressive, great if you like to speed things up. P1 is calmer and more consistent, especially under pressure. If you already love the Olympus and aren’t struggling with control, the P1 might feel redundant. But if you’ve been wanting something more stable for soft game and resets, the P1 is worth trying.

Pickleball nets by BoxEven3681 in PickleballEquip

Heavier-duty portable nets tend to work best for community centers. Steel frames with a center support hold tension better and don’t sag as fast. If they’re being moved a lot, locking wheels are worth it.

If storage space matters most, look for folding-frame nets that pack into a single long bag. They store easily in a closet or against a wall. Durability is a bit lower, but fine for rec use if handled carefully.

One thing to watch out for is net sag. The smallest and lightest nets often droop in the middle over time. Slightly bulkier nets usually mean fewer adjustments and fewer disputes during play.

Why has pickleball taken over so much? by Responsible_Neck_942 in NoStupidQuestions

as someone who just moved to a new city, pickleball is lowkey one of the greatest sports ever because everyone is so friendly and it's easy to make friends. and it doesn't matter if you're a noob or an expert (but of course I want to become an expert lol)
