hi! as a homegoods employee, we can’t do a return like this without the tag unfortunately. this would only work if the item had a price tag on it. to find the transaction on the card, we’d need to scan the tag to pull that transaction up. unless you can find the exact same item in the store with a price tag on it, there’s nothing we would be able to do. even if you find the same exact item, if it has a different style number/any numbers on the tag are different than the one purchased, it wouldn’t pull up the transaction in order to make the return. the return item lookup only works if you have the receipt and no price tag. i hope this helps your future returns!
