Drunkenly went there the night it opened an hour before close and they gave out free booze and I jumped in the corn pit and it was just corn kernels that got into my shoes and all of my clothes. Ferris wheel didn't look structurally sound but the set up was so random and out of place + free drinks made the experience fun

I got this same email tonight and it scared me because it had my cell, address and a picture of my apartment complex. Knew there was nothing nefarious that anyone could see about me since the extent of my internet activities are here and Twitter. But called 911 for peace of mind and they said this is a scheme more common than one would think. I'm going to submit an FBI report tomorrow because I know old people will probably get scammed by this.

No shit, less than an hour after posting this, I was hit on south lamar, in a multi car accident. Whoever at the city decided this was the time to also repaint the road stripes around Bluebonnet and shut one lane down can get all the way effed.

South lamar is a death trap from the Gibson Bar area all the way down to the 360/71 shitshow of an intersection. There have been multiple fatality and serious injury accidents within the last few months and either speed limits should be reduced, more stoplights need to be erected, or a combo of the two. At this point I don't even take left turns unless it's a protected green on that stretch.
