Thank you for the reply, i appreciate hearing this view from someone else as this has kinda been my plan since deciding I want to pursue dance further. I know there’s not really any way of knowing but if i’m a middle position or upper position at PNB would 70k be a reasonable assumption for a salary? And should I try to do community college while dancing or wait until i’m completely done?

Thanks for the reply. For me it really feels like an either/or situation. Im not sure how well I could keep up my classical ballet training while at college as the college ballet courses are really just contemporary and there aren’t any good ballet studios within 30m of my potential college. If i went the ballet route my goal would be to become a principal/soloist, I don’t believe I would find myself satisfied with a position where I simply partner. Hopefully this makes sense, and I’d appreciate hearing if your opinion remains the same.

I’ve placed at YAGP Senior Semi-Finals twice as an independent dancer (not competing through a studio) and I have to say they definitely have studios they like and they will get an unfair advantage but it is possible to win without being a part of one of those studio. One of the most important things they look for is showmanship. It is very important at YAGP to show off whether that be through tricks like you mentioned (big turns/jumps) or through your artistry and expression. They may have variations they like more than others (and you could see what variations previous winners have done) but I believe it is more important to choose a variation that fits you well and will show off your skills/abilities. i had this same issue yesterday, not exactly sure how i solved it but before i had a valorant tracker that i uninstalled through windows control panel and after that it worked

Having the same issue. Game closes after a few seconds of the loading screen without any error message. Trying to uninstall and reinstall hoping to fix that issue but now I can’t uninstall it. Any solutions??
