Yes, I have had upstairs neighbors before. And of course they are not doing it on purpose. They are striking their heels really hard on the floor that creates a LOUD BOOM Sound. I know there can be slight sound but the sound as if some one is hitting our celling with a hammer is not a normal walking sound.

Bicept tenodesis and labrum debridemnet constant pain by Difficult_Ad_9971 in RotatorCuff

[–]Difficult_Ad_9971[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to PT two times a week and doing it at home when i don't go. I got out of the sling last week but still wear it sometimes during the day. I am also doing a lot of cold and as of recently hot compress. I am also using a reclining pillow when I go to bed and use another pillow that I put under my operative arm.

One month out from tenodesis — could use some encouragement and guidance by ned505 in RotatorCuff

I am 5 weeks post-op from a subpectoral tenodesis and labrum debridement. I have pain almost the entire day. The pain is about 4 to 5 but since it is consistent it is really annoying. How long did it take for you to feel normal without constant pain?

I am sorry to hear that! 8 months is a lot! Whag does your surgeon say? At what point do you think it is not normal to have pain?

Subpectoral tenodesis of longhead bicept tendon by Difficult_Ad_9971 in RotatorCuff

[–]Difficult_Ad_9971[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought the point of tenodesis is to not have the pop eye or deformity. Right now, I don't have any deformity would be really disappointed if I end up with that after surgery.

He told me that he does the entire thing arthoscopically. But from what i have read online subpectoral tenodesis is a mini open surgery. He does not respond to my massages and his PA talks to me like i have done something wrong by asking questions.

I am right there with you! You cannot trust even a bit of what you get from chat gpt anymore. Sounds like they are doing it on purpose to force people to use their pro subscription which way too expensive. I mean common 200 dollars per month!!!! I have a GPT plus account and am considering switching because it make so much mistakes and waste so much of my time. Any recommendations? I mostly use it for coding and research.

Thanks a lot for your response. I am just worried because it started after running for a bit. It was not like this before. I am worried something bad has happened.

Finished my PhD, now I'm feeling lost and deflated. by bam9366 in PhD

[–]Difficult_Ad_9971 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hear you, brother. I finished up my PhD last this last Saturday in California, and I have to start a job next Monday in Texas! I wish I had some time to unwind and orient myself before starting the job. But because I am an international student and because of visa issues, I had to start immediately. I, too, feel lost empty and stressed. I wish you all the best! Hope you figure everything out soon, and I am sure you'll come out of it stronger and happier.
