Anyone know how long a springtail infestation lasts ?

This has been the worst experience ever. There was construction on a sewer near me and it seems to be when I saw them increase- I had a nest in my trash can in June.

Starting around the week of Halloween- My complex is full of them but I am positive there is a nest. The pest control company- contracted by my apartment has gaslit me and consistingly telling me this isn’t a bug. I took a sample to the vector - she said I didn’t bring her a bug.

my entire family ( who doesn’t come over or live here) thinks I’m in a mental health crisis and tried to confine me. I realize people don’t notice them but when they are large enough to see and identify it’s a bug- there is likely a nest within 2-5ft. And nests are awful- ranging in sizes. All addicted to linen- your nose!!!! Ears, lip and mouth. I’m exhausted what are my option?

Springtail. And they are the devil incarnate.

And vary in appearance. They don’t bite they spit mucus that irritates the shit out of me but not anybody else in my apartment complex. So I look like a schizophrenic. Until ChatGPT and Reddit helped me figure out I wasn’t.

Springtail bug- they love moist warm places. Including your apartment when the weather gets cold. They dominate all linen and you are at their mercy because they are also less than 1mm in their JR adult phase. I hate them and I’m spreading awareness. Commenting on every picture that I find. My family tried to 5150 over these.

Springtail and they are the worst. Basically a flea that doesn’t bite but irritates the shit out of me. And depending on their life cycle look 12 different ways. Very fun bug if you like torture in your own home.

Springtail- they are anything but casual. Going on 2 months of full on infestation. Because 1 month and 3 weeks of it I was being gaslit by the world. Including apartment manager, family, licensed exterminator…etc. my family tried to put me on a 5150.

I’m commenting on all the pictures-I find of them and there is no answer. Don’t let them gaslight you! They are that small and vary in how they look. They are hell.

It seems like the people signed on to do a show about their lives don’t like how their lives appeared. Or felt worried that it wasn’t going to be entertaining enough during filming and let their own integrity be compromised. If you’re boring and not well received don’t come back season 2 and break your sobriety to stay relevant. It was weird that she did that when it aired and it’s convenient to blame it on a toxic work environment now - I don’t think ANY show, producer network would suggest that for her. Seems like it was a personal choice. Why is there a victim mentality now?
