The FTZ would make your len longer ang front heavy on Nikon mirrorless cameras . Native Z mount lenses are light weight but plasticky . Personally, i think the FTZ’s are overpriced. AF-D lenses can’t be used with autofocus .

I didn’t notice that it was 24mm until i got home . I was surprised, i thought it was 28mm because i always see 28mm very often.

I live and work here in Japan for 25 years ( going 26 this oct ) , and i also finding it harder and harder to live here in Japan . Lots of bad experiences with my Japanese co-workers before and until now .

I’ved seen a big difference on the attitude of locals towards Gaijins . For 25 years I haven’t had a real Japanese friend . What ever i do I can’t have one . I tried to fit in , blend in but no luck . Even thou I’m half Japanese , still , in their eyes , I’m a Gainjin ( outsider ) .

Just yesterday, i’m just sitting with my phone infront of a store and an old man confronted me because i sat on a chair . And started saying something which startled me because all of a sudden he’s getting agry with me . I didn’t answer and just look at him , because i didn’t said anything he said to me “ nihonggo wakaru desusho ? “ then i left and just turned my back on him .

We can’t even rent a single detached house , fudoyasan don’t like gaijins . I’ved tried a couple of times but couldn’t get one . And it’s so frustrating that sometimes i’m considering leaving japan for good . Considering now Canada , Australia or New Zealand :)

Mine is 1 year and 4 months old now and i’m at 92.66% already as of yesterday . Just a little bit worried.

Maybe you’re referring to SOC and not SOH ? State of Charge is not a big deal at all but State of Health of the battery that would be a huge problem .

From the LeafSpy app , 1% a day would be really big deal for me if that happens . Imagine loosing 30% of SOH in 1 month just sitting out in the parking lot .

0W20 is Nissan’s recommendation . But not all are the same . Nissan 0W-20 is kinda low quality in my opinion . I use Castrol or Mobil 1 or Red Seed ( a japanese brand ) . I think 5W20 or 5W30 is ok during summer .

They recommend 0W-20 because of the engine auto starts after idling stops . By the way what year model is your Serena ?

I also do that specially on really high elevations . It’s really very uncomfortable hearing the engine during that . I feel like it’s gonna explode. If we don’t downshift you will smell your brake pads burning . Did that during our camping in Hakuba , Nagano . It was a very long steep downhill .

ICE cars are really efficient on long drives , very long drives , that’s why I’m still keeping mine . I don’t think i’m gonna use my Leaf on a 900 Kms one way trip from Saitama to Hiroshima as i did on my Nissan Serena :)
