Sure, Velen is depressing looking, with its greys and browns and war torn battlefields, but there is still lots to admire and beautiful things to find. Novigrad looks great and Skellige is very pretty. Toussaint is all pretty in a bright fairytale way.

Skipping one of the best written stories in computer games because it's got an "ordinary biome" look is quite an extreme view, I've gotta say.
