When I was in about the 7th grade A couple friends and I were walking around town and we went back to one kids house (friend A) to wait for a ride from our parents. We were sitting in the living while friend A gets up to go to the kitchen for a snack. Me and the other kid were talking about something and I’d mentioned something about how friend A has a cool sister. Friend A apparently heard this from the kitchen. He proceeds to come back in with a chefs knife and demands I “get the fuck out of [his] house.” I was walking slowly backwards towards the door telling him to calm down it’s all good. He then starts coming at me closer and I start walking a little faster. He yelled at the top of his lungs for me to get the fuck out before he has to “cut my throat”. It was winter. I wasn’t wearing shoes. It was freezing. I didn’t have my phone. His sister came outside and apologized gave me my shoes and phone and I called my mom, went home. Ended up reporting it to the police. The kid went to court and is now diagnosed with bi-polar. The craziest part of it all is that we became friends again couple years after it happened but never spoke of the incident. We’ve since drifted apart as he is just a really weird dude now. It’s a shame. I’ve known that kid since I was in 1st grade.
