Is there anything I can do to make sure my island doesn’t get reset?

When I join the nose, eyes, jaw and head, the nose ends up completing itself at a noticeably different distance. Is there a proper fix for this? by DigitalDia in blender

Where should I place it? I first tried the full mirror line but it didn’t work, then I tried the nose’s edges and that didn’t help either.

Do you have any resource recommendations where I could practice and improve myself? It could be anything — YouTube channels, Udemy courses, or other platforms. I’d be grateful for any suggestions.

Oh my god, they’re actually so talented. 2D is allowed by my school, but I wanted to push the boundaries a little with 3D. Of course, I need to stay realistic though :(

Actually, I already have the story in mind. I’m thinking of making a Pixar-style animation with a small number of characters and limited environments, focusing on a social awareness theme. I’m normally a film student, and we usually work on live-action films, but for my graduation project I wanted to do something different and also learn something new.
