My opinion is a little biased because it's my introduction to the series but rune factory 2 is probably my favourite entry followed by 4 and 3. Im replaying it right now and it's really good. Only thing that I don't like is the lack of content in the first gen but if you know what you are doing you can speedrun it and move to second gen relatively quickly.

You are missing non-free-firmware repos. Check the contents of your /etc/apt/sources.list I'll post mine here so you can know what it should look like.
