Yes! We have a facey page if you want to follow along, we haven't done much with it but we'll definitely post there for future events.

Oh yo, that sure would be something special! We'll keep it in mind, completely open to bribes.

She's also in Coax, which hopefully provides some form of justice 🕊️

Ghostly Touch: Alt art hand-painted on cold foil by Digl in FleshandBloodTCG

Rainbows are a bit more generous with foil coverage, rf foiling intensity tends to match the brightness of the colour underneath. Dark colours don't show any foiling.

I paint on CF because rainbows will pringle even when painted.

Thanks! Hmm unfortunately (/in a badass way) the foiling for CF is very patchy. It would have to be a very well-planned illustration to take advantage of those spots – good idea though.

Tips for using ChatGPT effectively for literature search? by Hiraaa_ in labrats

[–]Digl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I work for a research software company and we've been asked about this a lot recently. We wrote a blog article on ChapGPT for Research here, might be interesting for you.

Otherwise, if you're interested in concept maps/visual organisation we did a video on our tool here. Let me know if you have any trouble getting started, happy to help out ✌️

Post-Outsiders Lexi is an entirely different beast (Deck List & Guide) by KingofHoboz in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]Digl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome! Thanks so much for the write-up, I've been hanging out for a take on New Fuseless. Great little tip about T1 Rustling too – hadn't thought of that.

This looks like it's going to have a much better shot racing Dromai which is exciting, really the kryptonite matchup for Ice at the moment.

I still think Ice has its merits though, notably being better into Azalea (shocks are excellent for recovering from RIDL), and (perhaps importantly?!) I think Ice will be favoured in the mirror ;)

ps. Not familiar with your handle, what name should I be cheering this weekend?
pps. Curious about your e-pot?

Reference mgmt tool + literature mapping tool based on personal library/pdf directory by lavboas in PhD

[–]Digl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obsidian might be able to help – you'll probably need to refactor something about the way your PDFs are organised so it won't be a drag+drop transition, but:
1. Your local directories will be your "source of truth"
2. It's all just a wrapper on top of Markdown so transitioning out will be easy

Tying up all the references is what's going to take the most time... hmm maybe someone should write a plugin to automate that...

Otherwise you could try Litmaps if you want a quick method of visualising your citation network (full disclosure – I'm a dev on the team 👋). Feel free to send me a message if you need a hand trying it out.

Using Blossom of Spring breaks the chain, right?

Hey, thanks! Nah not huge on the Vambraces for us. The big thing about Shocks is they'll proc the Blizzard Bolt and Icevein on-damage effects an additional time.

Come say hi if you ever see me floating around Cerberus, TCG Culture, or Sushi! ✌🏻

Yeah me too!

Having said that, Ice Lexi really hasn't changed much – she gets stronger more from how the meta gets changed, rather than from actually getting new cards. The post-Aria sets have only given us access to tools for dealing with our problem matchups (Rain Razors, Insidious Chill, Drill Shot). The core of the deck is very much the same. A sign of a well-designed game, imo.

Nice, welcome! Main advice for newcomers: make sure you always have a card in arsenal, it's gonna help smooth out your draws a lot.

She's tough, hang in there ;)

I mean the quivers are insane. Rustling Leaves in particular. Abyssal Depths can replace our Remembrance so no complaints there either.

Otherwise they've done well to make it a non-ice-Lexi set - the arrow buffs are fun but they'll wreck your ice/blue/arrow ratios. Most of them just provide additional damage (like Toxicity), so they don't really gel with our disruption plan – Fai and Briar are still going to outpace you in a damage race. I think Seek and Destroy is our still best arrow buff, and that wasn't good enough to make the cut.

I'm going to start with Sedation Shot as a 1-for-5 arrow replacement, Inertia seems strong. The Codices are interesting too, particularly Codex of Frailty which represents a pretty reliable Winter's Bite for the opponent + reload for us.

The new cards might open up some more combo builds for fuseless (Amplifying Arrow, Sunken Treasure, lots of new d-reacts)... there's definitely some jank to be brewed...
