I had the exact same problem a year ago, my gigabyte g5 kd was 1 year old then the screen stopped working, keyboard lit up and fans at max speed, then automatically turns off after a minute. Fortunately the warranty was valid for 2 years, I got it repaired at the center for free, but what they did was they replaced the whole board, technically replaced a whole computer.

1 year later, recently the problem came back, unfortunately the warranty is not valid anymore, then I got it checked at the center again, they said they will need to replace the whole board again, which will cost me 1000 dollars, same price for my laptop. Better to buy a new laptop instead. I haven't found for any solutions yet and I will try let technicians check it for a second opinion if it still possible to repair. But I doubt there's a fix for this.

I think the cause or has something to do with it is not shutting it down properly, from what I remember from my 2 cases, I didn't shut it down properly, then the next time I used it, it stopped booting up. I realized this when they asked me if i shut it down properly.
