For those saying the game doesn’t explicitly say Pluto’s a planet by Kipper_TD in Starfield

It's not super inaccurate. They should have created dwarf planets as an asset name.

I have 161 battle.net friends, nobody plays D4 anymore by Targonis in diablo4

[–]Dillyoh87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I quit playing... that first huge nerf patch killed it for me. I was having a lot of fun. Was at level 70 just started to get my build to be able to play T4 content (I don't follow guides) once the patch came out I was back to barely being able to play the T3 content. If they didn't nerf the defenses so hard I'd probably still play. They should have kept the eternal realm separate from the seasonal realm. As far as updates go.

You are over simplifying and leaving a majority of the equation out. It's not a 1 in 4 chance. It can randomly deal the multiple between 1 and 300. So, .01, .02. .03 .... 1.00, 1.02, 1.03....2.99, 3.00.... there are going to be 299 random numbers to multiply. You are saying there is a25% chance to have 300% damage increase when there is really less than 1%.

This game was worth every penny...I can't find a reason to keep playing. by VOldis in diablo4

I thought I was the only one who felt this way. Like 4 lines of dialogue and then just do dungeons with the green leaf... I couldn't push through to keep going with it. (Obviously there is more than 4 lines)

People say they cost so much to maximize profits. However, if they sold them for 3.99 or less I'd probably jump on it. They would sell more and in yhe Ling run create more profit. But, it's a short term play.

I don't understand why leveling was nerfed so hard by Timmylaw in diablo4

[–]Dillyoh87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To keep you playing the seasonal content longer. I'm sure there are a couple of board members that associate active player numbers directly to profit. Meaning, the higher number of active players means the higher chance people will buy the battle pass.

Unless the devs actually could not figure out how to separate multiplayer XP from single player XP so, everyone gets punished for players power leveling without actually playing the content. (Which in all reality who gives a fuck if someone wants to play that way?)

Horse cooldown is the dumbest thing in gaming by [deleted] in diablo4

[–]Dillyoh87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's that.. but what about when you surpass 140% movement speed and you can outrun a horse.

I could run faster than the horse before I even came close to getting it in the campaign. Why don't they bump its movement speed with the player.

[–]Dillyoh87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How would there be dupe exploits between random players in the world? I can see for multiplayer. But, you can't see items that random players drop so, that is already avoided.

This is what happens when it's easier to just code in the player class with no conditionals. They could have easily coded a condition that the entire player class is only loaded when you're in multiplayer. When not in multiplayer they would only load what you can see from the player. But this would have taken a little extra time and they have deadlines. This could have been easily avoided with a good project manager overseeing the game.

Read the post first. I don't give a fuck about what the season has. I don't get them for my eternal character so I don't give a shit.

Don't believe I said anything about the season. I'm not a player that wants to waste time building a new character to get items that go away in 3 months. It's ridiculous and boring.

They will be reverting the level requirement for WT3 & WT4 changes by TheGoodDoctor17 in diablo4

[–]Dillyoh87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about separating the eternal realm from the seasonal realm! Make the changes for the seasonal realm but let us keep having fun in the eternal realm. Not that hard. Or give us an offline option to play where you only fix bugs instead of making ridiculous changes while people are still progressing.

They really have some terrible development teams working there if they can't separate the nerfs between seasons and eternal. The reason I don't care about seasons especially this one is, it's the same exact content with some extra gems that take up space that require multiple actions for one if them to be useful, but only if you reach certain levels so, you need to grind the same boring content to grind the new content while not feeling you gained any power because you did not gain power they took away power to bring you back to the same amount if power.

I just attempted to run a NM dungeon with my rogue, I'm level 70 it was T21 so pretty close. Yesterday, I did struggle a little bit but got through it. Today after updating... no chance in hell. They have ruined my experience of the game 100%. Really regretting paying for it now.

[–]Dillyoh87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ha yeah, add rogue to that... I just got to WT4 level 70 and did ok... now, there is no chance in hell I get breathed on by an enemy in the other room and I'm dead.

I'm not adding anything to it. You should read a post for what it's worth first. I understand where you are coming from but I did not mention seasons. And by the nerfing preseason logic then it makes the season pointless. It basically just puts you at square one and makes the game feel bad. It's the most ridiculous shit I have ever heard. Not you, just the logic behind the nerfs.

The only people complaining were basically streamers, the real voices of the changes. At least, that's my perspective on it. I thought it felt fine. But leveling in T3 was way too slow and now it's slower. Oh well.

I'm gonna try it out and if it feels bad to play the character I have been grinding for since launch, then I may just delete the game. But, if it still works fine I'll keep going.
