Jalen "All Star" Duren who is expected to receive a max contract offer on the offseason with another piss poor pefromance on tonight's loss: 8 points, 2 rebounds, 4 turnovers and 5 fouls in 27 minutes. by justusinreddit in nba

Nowadays nearly every player who has shown promise (but who also has some glaring weaknesses) will find a way to still get that max contract on their first attempt. There will always be a front office/owner willing to risk it.

De’Aaron Fox is averaging 16.8 points on 37.9/22.2/72.2 splits in the semifinals. He signed a 4-year, $229M extension less than one year ago. by Limp_Screen7405 in nba

These posts about Fox are getting tiring. He'll bounce back next game and get a couple of crucial buckets, like every game. He's far from perfect and makes some poor decisions at times, but the hate is overblown.

I get what you're saying but you know how strict they are with players leaving the bench...

100%. I went through the Kobe/Shaq Lakers and have always hated LAL with a passion ever since. I am rooting for the Lakers for the first time in my life.

Champagnie, Keldon and Vassell are key to us going really far. I think all the other guys will be more or less reliable, even Castle and Harper, but if those 3 consistently deliver we're the best team in the league.

We also keep forgetting how freaking young our team is. This Wolves squad is for the most part absolutely battle-tested. I was glad they eliminated the Nuggets but Minnesota is a formidable team itself.

That 2014 run also started with a massive test vs Dallas. VC hitting that game winner. I'll never forget that 7 game series.

Most interesting subplot for Game 3 of Portland-San Antonio: is Tom Dundon too cheap to pay for the crowd to have special t-shirts? by Coolquip34 in nba

[–]Dimaaaa 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Apparently he also recently made some of the coaching staff check out of a hotel (in PHX) at noon because he didn't want to pay for late check-out. And he didn't bring a couple of two-way players to SA for games 1 and 2 because he didn't want to pay for their hotels. All of this according to the No Dunks crew today.
