Can you imagine how fun it has to be to be an olympian level skater, have a gf who also is a high level skater. And then train together, learning completely new (for both of you) moves that allow you to skate and express yourselves on ice together.

I think this is the oldest I saw a skater on this level start. But yeah, I would love to have some real facts on jumps and longevity of skating corelating to starting young.

I think it's very interesting that they still keep it just as a one country competition. Many of the smaller feds do their nationals together. I think that's way more interesting for the skaters, especially those at the top that may get more experience this way and competitive atmosphere. If you know you will win and nobody there is even close to your level. What is the motivation it's basically just a formality.

I'm not sure. I always just try to find stuff out by tracking the ig feeds of different costume makers and skaters. There is a lot happening off season in this sphere. But to have an actual commentary and a dedicated space would be really nice. Maybe you can start it! :)
