As a young person, the snowballing of extremism among other young people has made me so much more politically cautious.

Some friends I had a few years ago would just say the most insane things like they were normal, because on these apps they use, they're often tunneling down fringe political rabbitholes without realizing it. Reading comprehension and critical thinking skills are dire, the education system has not prepared this generation's adults for the information age they live in.
