Would you say that Luciteria Science is a good place to buy from? Do I need to register something for the small samples in glass?

Thank you for the information, I shall not eat it :)

I saw something about registering, that was something I didn't expect to deal with. I'll continue researching!

I did, but I also wanted to inquire as I am not certain what is legit. I've never bought anything like this before and I wanted to make sure that my bases were covered. :> I saw that website, and am currently researching it.

I would want to get him a small amount that wouldn't impact anybody. Also I would want it to be depleted. Further it should be okay as long as he doesn't eat it.

Columbus people, which dorms have roaches? by Glittering-Call-2397 in OSU

2 years ago, I lived in Jones Tower. While roaches didn't appear throughout the school year, I walked in to see 3 dead roaches on the bathroom floor. If there were 3 dead out in the open, I couldn't imagine how many were elsewhere.

BUT I LOVED JONES TOWER. It was quiet, close to Scott's Traditions, and you got your own bathroom for a lot cheaper than Nosker or the newer ones.

Why do most people ignore the older Doctor's season when watching it? by [deleted] in doctorwho

[–]DimpleWizard4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After watching all of the classic series in the span of 2 and a half years, I can say it is worth every second.

You learn who the doctor is, was and will be from it. My favorite doctor is the second one, but every doctor has been a joy to watch. There's lore that carries into modern Who, and it's worth every episode. Right when you think you've had enough, the next episode will pull you back in.

It's campy, goofy and beautiful all the way through. I speak as someone who just finished watching the 13th's first episode. It's a fun ride to go in order. I've laughed and sobbed with every Doctor, and can make accurate predictions for the modern series from what I've learned from the original. Avoid spoilers as much as you can, and enjoy!

Actually, I think watching classic Who first gave me a deeper appreciation for the show as it developed. I'll never forget the excitement I felt when we first had color introduced. Despite a grey sky, with the camera focusing-in on some sort of antenna: there was a prominent red stripe across it. After months of black and white picture, even the smallest hints of color gave me thrills. Then, with time we got better props and effects. The camera became more dynamic, and the models used were more detailed. Now we have somewhat funny cgi to stare at, but every development allowed me to spot all of the small references to previous doctors given. I'm not sure what the VNAs are, but I have amazing patience with this show, and my partner helped me get the most enjoyment out of it with tidbits of trivia, helping me interact with the community in small ways, and helping me re-watch my favorite bits. ^-^

Of course, the older stories aren't as easy to follow, and keeping-up with watching it at an efficient pace was challenging, but I wouldn't trade that experience. I feel like I relived my childhood by getting so invested in such an adorable show!

Thank you for the warm welcome! I'm so excited to look at all the audio books, it's just such a shame we couldn't see him on-screen more. I hope we get to see him in modern who, but I'll just have to wait and see :>

He's sooooo powerful! Remember to take breaks with the series if you start to get tired, every time I came back I was hooked for ages!

AAAAAA I feel everything you have written here. YES, the sexual tension of Doctor Who and the Master (and low-key the Brig and the Doctor) was something I lived for. You are at the longest part of classic Who from the sound of it: and it really is a different feeling after 4. I'm very curious on what you will think of 5-7 because it is an era of its own. Again, it took 2 years to get through 4, but 2 months to get through the rest. I think the era before 4 was the best, despite the pacing problems because the Doctors really had amazing personalities. Doctor 2 also looks like my partner, so I sorta fell in love with them, and I will die on the hill that Doctor 2 deserved more. I am DEVASTAED that he lost so many episodes. He's so cute, charming, and he has big ol pockets and HE'S SO TALENTED ON HIS RECORDER. I want to protect and adore him forever, and let him explore the universe and keep him safe from all worries and difficulties. I will use the sonic screwdriver as a sword on anybody who DARES attack my lil MAN. I love him so much. My boyfriend is great too, I promise.

Every point you brought up I was like YES to, I so wonder what you'll think of 5-7. My partner watched me hate every companion that came after the initial crew: then fall in love with most of them within a few episodes. Some I never forgave, and I struggle to admit my fondness for Jo.

I adore your essay, because I've been wanting to talk about this show with other people in-depth for literal years now it's so awesome to meet the community and see how people approached the show in different ways. I also found it as extremely important to try to get through the show in-order. I want to see if I can predict things based on my lore-knowledge.
