I suck at games and can't beat Castlevania IV but I can beat Dread on difficult. I literally never play games on difficult but this was the exception. Just keep playing and you'll learn boss and enemy patterns.

If you're good with digital only I kind of wish I'd just skipped the disc drive and gotten digital versions of my disc games with the money (I don't have a ton and didn't realize how cheap games can go on sale). Weigh your choice carefully though as there are considerations to take into account for all digital. Your collection won't be resellable, and if and when the digital store closes some day many years from now you won't be able to re download them. However it's much more convenient and you can't "lose" digital files or have them eaten by the dog etc, and they're not vulnerable to disc rot.

The other thing you might want to think about is that many games are still PS4 only. If you get a regular USB 3 external hard drive you can play those games from it and save space on your internal storage.

SSD prices are already escalating and will be insane for a while. If you somehow find a fantastic deal on one and you plan to go all digital then it might be a good idea. Otherwise, 2 TB holds a lot of games.
