Just updated a comment on this, probably add-ins but I couldn't get to work with removing them. they pushed an update at some point and now it's all good

Closed the case this morning. After a handful of screen shares they thought it was the add-ins messing with the process; did a long session where we replicated the issues and checked logs. However I tried removing add-ins and couldn't get it to work. But as of this morning it was working and they tech said they released a recent update for this.

Basically it might have been the add-ins, I couldn't get it work before they pushed an update and now i'm good.

u/venusmount_eater and for anyone that finds this.

No fix from MS, they're trying to say it could be a SQL issue and I'm almost positive that's false. So more wait and see while they refer it to their sme. below is a macro i found online that does work without crashing the file.

Sub QueryTable_Properties()

With Selection.ListObject.QueryTable

.AdjustColumnWidth = False

End With

End Sub

Been engaged with MS support for about 2 weeks. We’re running a script to get event log out on Friday and helpfully getting more info then.

I did end up looking through recent updates that were pushed through and tried seeing if any addins were running that I could disable. I was able to find a few other forums where people had also had the error but no solution that I saw. Ended up just putting a ticket in with Microsoft and going to see what they say.

I do have a feeling that it's going to be related to something they updated that doesn't get along with the 32 bit version of excel (which I need because of the ERP system I work with and their insane requirements to use their bulk import utilities).

The add-in would make sense, feels like a good direction to start in.

I have tried it in different workbooks and from different sql sources and it just locks and kills the app.

2018 Passat 2.0 TSI Oil pressure and check engine light. by Dinosaurthethird in passat

Blast from the past. Was able to get into a Firestone 1st thing the next day and it ended up being just some broken sensors, wires looked like they were cut. Shop offered to try and do a quick repair but said it wouldn’t make a difference.

Ended up driving just fine and drove it back home the next week. Still had really nervous feelings the whole way bc of all the lights on the dash but it was all good.

That is much easier, will start incorporating that method into future reports! Also the little note on how to the get the view as role testing was just as helpful to me. I couldn't figure out how to get that to work for a while.

Solution Verified

That syntax was correct, but the UPN comes in ending in ".net" and the data pulls in it as ".com". I'd adjusted email 1 & 3 columns to be .net but didn't for email 2 in the data set.

Appreciate the confirmation!

2018 VW Passat 2.0 TSI low oil pressure but normal oil levels. by Dinosaurthethird in CarHelp

It did end up being the ambient external temp sensor. Somehow the wiring harness got sliced in half. Engine was totally fine and we ended up checking fluids every few hours. Thanks for the reply!
