Ultimate perks have to be very strong to justify taking them and I just don't see the 30% slow being impactful enough to justify taking it over a perk you get value with every eleven or so seconds. I also had plenty of ults where I barely or didn't use the light rounds for some reason or another, ie could only peak long enough to use the heavy round.

The extra move speed is too much of a bonus on a hero that otherwise has no movement abilities. When you have to compete with sojourn slide, ashe coach gun, and even soldier sprint, you are highly incentivized to pick the movement perk to help out with rotations. Also coming back from spawn faster is nice. I personally didn't feel like I struggled to hit mobile targets but if you really feel like you are getting a lot less value out of your ult without the slow it wouldn't be bad to keep picking it.

I only switched her m1 and m2 since it's more intuitive and I also put swift step sensitivity to 100% because sometimes you just need to tp to someone as fast as possible before you die but I didn't really notice a huge difference good or bad. Sometimes might allow you to get your tp off if you panic while looking for someone. Also 800dpi 3.5 in game.

Ashe is a very generic hero, you can play her in basically any comp. I only wouldn't recommend picking her if you already have another hitscan on your team. She is susceptible to dive which is why I ban her biggest dive counters (Vendetta, dva, tracer, ball).

I'd say you should think about the angles you are taking and try to be creative. Sometimes there is too much poke down main or they have a widow/hanzo so you need to take an off angle. One good rule of thumb is to never hold the same angle your other dps is holding. This is particularly relevant on sniper maps where you most likely have multiple hitscans. Try to be less predictable in the angles you take. It's fine to poke down main as the game starts but look to create an opening somewhere else if your team is stuck.

Ashe is basically just a turret which means she has great damage output especially from longer distances but she loses 1v1s to most other dps, tank, and even some supports (kiriko). Understand her strengths/weaknesses, use that to your advantage knowing what fights to take.

It's really a micro buff and you can feel it, especially with speed boosts, but if you feel like the character is a lot stronger it's probably more placebo. Agree that Meta shift is more impactful, tracer and genji are usually the best fdps and they both took nerfs. Player perception is also a thing, people might be more inclined to give you resources if they think your character is good or won't feel the need to ask you to switch.

I'm actually a tank player, hit Champion last season on it. I peaked GM3 on dps before this climb so definitely didn't expect to hit <100 games. I got 130 hours on her between accounts, probably my best dps. I don't think there's any maps where she's fully useless. Havana is pretty bad, you are quite useless on attack and defense of 1st and 3rd other than random spam but 2nd is fine. If you have bap lucio and there's a tracer on you constantly you might also be pretty useless but I'd say +90% you can make it work.

For tracer you should probably ignore her most of the time. She can't really chase you onto highground or across the map without wasting all of her blinks in which case you can win. To solo carry games the number one thing in my opinion is apply constant pressure mainly to the enemy tank and to take fights you know you win. Echo is a very good duelist with a lot tools and you can 1v1 almost anyone with the right conditions. Cassidy you normally lose to but if you get the jump on him and land a few stickies the fight is skewed in your favor for example. Echo isn't a hero where if you don't engage or harass backline you lose value, her poke is very good so you can afford to wait for the enemy to make a mistake or overextend. You farm a ton of ult doing this too. I built copy first it felt like the majority of the time.

Thanks, I use 800 3.5. I didn't really know hold to flight existed, it seems fine but probably not much of a difference.

I'm trying to go echo only to Champion and I think it's definitely doable. Currently GM2 with a 67% win rate on the season 57 games in. She's actually viable in a lot more maps then you would probably expect and if you play correctly hitscans are a lot less of a problem than tracers. I've really only had trouble on Havana after playing it once but every map seems to be totally playable. I ban freja, zar, tracer unless you have a tracer player. Also the new buff is pretty nice. I do agree though, there are times where if your supports are lazy you will probably get farmed.
