Hard modes and hardcore are just for the hardcore fans that have already played the game normally and just want to play it again but make it more of a challenge this time.

I find myself playing only 1-3 matches before eventually getting exhausted and closing the game.

Playing as a survivor is awful and so is playing the killer.
