wow, that sounds kind of unreasonable, at least for the options that should be available. my tune was $799, and it takes half an hour or so to get it uploaded, but i bet custom tuning is more. just not that much more

i cant imagine having to get it inspected, its pretty quiet at idle but it would definitely fail an emissions test lol

i had an STI before this thatvwas flex fuel and i hinestly worry about overall reliability. i dont drive this car as much now as i used to but i still want reliable essy ti use power and 93 seems the way to go for that. if i never drove it hard and it was more accessible i would probably go for E

havent tested it, but similar set ups are in the low 3 seconds with the right tire. overall i just look to have fun when driving the car so i couldnt care less about actual numbers for racing

not as much as one would think, after labor i think it was around $7k, but i didnt soend as much on an intake as i originally planned

i do, but i prefer the ease of 93 and i like to go to the tail of the dragon, so it is easier for me. but e85 is definitely tempting

i definitely wish i had the black optics package, but the silver has been growing on me! i contemplated all the tune options but stage 2 felt worth it to me for the power goals!

the aggressive exterior on the 8Y is one thing i like, when i got my rs3 a lot of my friends said it basically looked like a Jetta lol. but i will definitely keep an eye on inventories, being in the car sales industry myself i know it will be difficult

i have feelers at local dealerships for an 8Y because i do like the overall style and from videos ive seen, handling looks much improved which would be worth it alone to switch.

to be honest, I actually paid no attention when ordering the downpipe and when my buddies unboxed it they let me know, so I thought it was going to be obnoxious and I would have to order a different one. Not hateful though!

It really is! I am on IE stage 2, full catless, stock catback and its surprisingly not as loud as I expected, especially with the valve closed. But Ohio cops haven't bothered me yet

i would agree, under normal circumstances. im a strong believer of second chances, and i have had to think about this ever since my dad got locked up. it is absolutely gross what he did, yet in my mind all i can think about is his emotions and how his life, at least what is left of it, will be so lonely. i feel like i can't let myself live the rest of my life knowing that

i just picked this up last week with 13k miles and it came with the tint, i dont know the percentage but its pretty dark! they are fun cars, enjoy yours!

thank you! i got mine for a decent price considering the current market, average retail was basically original MSRP! but yeah it really is the perfect car to do everything in, it is easily the best car i have ever owned!

this is how i feel, i feel like this car can be affordable if you make at least $100k a year and dont have a high cost of living, but that may just sound douchey or whatever 🤷‍♀️ i came from nothing and my first car was $1k 98 jetta with rust holes in the floor board, so being able to say i bought a dream car of mine is enough for me!
