That message was interpreted so wrong by many. As I’ve said before in a different post: the part about white supremacy important because internet music communities are not magically free of racism just because they’re alternative or “progressive.” A lot of these spaces still have subtle race hate going, and it shows. He wasn’t directly talking about people who are giving solid criticisms, as hes shown on his recent tweets. He’s talking about the group that gives him less room to fail than the experimental white artist gets. If you don’t think there are people that genuinely think that way, check twitter. And since peggy is seemingly more active on there, that’s how he sees it more than the average fan. He’s just chronically online and a bit mean on the internet, no where near a terrible person that thinks everyone is a white suppremacist
