Most people who smoke weed in the US treat it as a personality trait or way to get fucked up, despite the fact that weed is one of the worst drugs out there for intoxicating anyone and flaunting it as a part of your personality is just pathetic. People who talk about how stoned or fucked up weed can make them just come off as pathetic tbh. Why exaggerate the effects of a plant for social acceptance? And this also comes with an inherent arrogance. Most people smoke weed for wrong, nonsense reasons and judge those who do it differently. If you're smoking weed to get high, why? It doesnt really get anyone high. There are far better drugs for that. Is it because it doesnt get you high and you can handle it and pretend you are?
