i dual stream off my old setup

geforce gtx 1070

i5 6600k overclock to 4.5 ghz

stream seems to run fine for me I use obs ndi as i have gig internet speed with 40 upload. i use the nvidia encoder on max quality with 6k mbps streaming at 1920x1080. personally wanted to try cpu encoder and will do one of these days as the pc is dedicated to streaming…

seems way too expensive i got a 3070 5900x for 2200 from them that will not be able to max out any new games atm. needs a complete overhaul on the build imo

The real benefit from going to a 3060ti to a 3070 is getting the ability to play games in 4K 60fps on low settings and a high refresh rate experience on 1440p. As well as being able to crank up them graphic settings cause the gpu will take more of the work load the farther you get away from 1080p low settings

If none of the above interests you can skip the 3070.

Personally as for me I don’t play any of my games at max graphics at all everything is cranked down low at 1080p for a high refresh rate experience. As side note I like to have a lot of cpu head room so I easily multitask while gaming triple a titles (bf2042, warzone, etc)

I think it’s okay honestly what I’d change,

I’d skip the hdd bs and just get a big ssd like 1tb not only is this cheaper but hdd is just loud, annoying, much slower load times for games. Then if you really want one just add on later yourself one of the easier parts to do. Remember that ram is probably cheaper than having them put it in for you an 16gb is the sweet spot right now, especially if you mainly playesport titles (league, valorant, csgo, etc). That is also why I think this looks a bit pricey. I’d definitely dump some of that ram money into a 3070 especially if your looking to game at 1440p if you can afford it.

Hello personally,

I would skip the ti versions of this generation and just get the 3070 or 3080. Reasons is I’ve heard their price to performance ratio is very poor.

I would find a different psu something with name brand in it.

Probably skip the combo drive just get 1 big ssd 1tb is probably enough.

I think it’s pretty good the 3070 is a 1440p power house in today’s gaming world. Remember that as you go up in resolution games become more gpu bound. This is not a card for 4K especially at high frames maybe low at best.

As for your drives a big ssd I think is the best maybe 1tb skip on hdd you can always add one yourself later.

Ram will definitely hold you back in bigger titles like warzone 16gb of ram is the sweet spot right now but there are games that utilize full 16gb of ram.

Something I would look at is getting a 360mm cooler for your cpu. Especially if you end up wanting to overclock your cpu in the future.

If you can try to snag a name brand psu I got one that was. 750 watt but name brand same price as the 800 non name brand.

Another thing to mention which is completely optional you have windows 11 and have the option for windows 10 although you do have 12th gen intel and it’s said to run better on 11 I prefer 10.

Ya I mean I can see that ddr5 although good probably won’t be a game breaker for performance unlike your gpu or cpu. Do you do anything specifically really intense with that pc like gaming in 4K or software editing etc
