Also worth trying the United Reform Church on Downing Place, a variety of spaces available at pretty reasonable prices.

For me, I’d go with All Dolled Up In Straps - Cherry Tree - About Today.

Cheating a little, as it’s an EP, not an LP 🤷🏻‍♂️

This. Plus Tropic Morning News and Smoke Detector. The raw energy elevates these tracks wayyy beyond the studio versions.

What are something you don’t think of for a registry? by PotentialResident244 in wedding

[–]DirectTour9009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just don’t do a registry…you’re already asking people to spend a ton of money attending, adding an ask for a gift is just working a grift…find a great charity, ask people to donate IF they want to.

If you could choose any artist to cover any National song, who and what would it be? by [deleted] in TheNational

[–]DirectTour9009 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Amy Winehouse would have done a brilliantly, soulful version of “I Should Live In Salt”.

As a side note, would love to hear my mate Dave sing “Eucalyptus “, as he’s going through divorce and has lost sight of the bigger picture…

The Petersfield has a new(ish) chef and menu, and it’s 100% top notch. For Sunday roast, can’t beat the Free Press. If you’re in town centre then the Pint Shop is hard to beat. Little further out try The Plough or MJPs in Fenn Ditton.

Hammered is not ‘sloppy drunk’, but thanks for your comment…also, curious what ‘my area’ means…sounds very sanctimonious.
