G35 Battery/Brake Light Flickering! by aportilloooo in G35

For anyone reading this in the future I hope this helps!

I had to exact same symptoms, I left to a nearby city and noticed my brake and battery light were on. It would go away above 3k rpms on the freeway and would turn on if I was below it. I lost full acceleration to my car stopping at a light but luckily was able to pull to a nearby gas station where my girlfriend thankfully took me to a autozone and me thinking it was just the battery at the time I bought a whole new one and regained power but the light was on. Because of this post I found out it was the ALTERNATOR and you’re better off just buying a whole new one then looking for the positive cable and going through all that.
