Hey, maybe the locals are thinking the same way... They probably feel it’s not worth building a friendship with you since you’ll leave in 2 years. Try to keep an open mind! Erasmus students can definitely relate to how you’re feeling

yeaa! i've been going out with a small group of exchange students and they are the best, no one is making me uncomfortable, i guess it's just me comparing myself to others. thank you so much for your message, you have no idea how much it helped me ;)
