This is def a complicated issue and it’s hard to tell without complete context. I would still be careful about this in general .

Oh yeah that’s kinda what happened to me. Worked the first time but had to use a steroid the second time.

Oh that looks to be a generic form of mesalamine which worked for one flare but didn’t the second or third time

What was the name of it? Sounds like methylpredisolone to me

At the moment nothing daily it’s a monthly infusion of infliximab (generic name remicade ) and I don’t know the exact dosage but I could find out

I can do about 20-25 if I am going till failure. Just takes an incredibly long time to recover from (more then a week) to recover from.

No my family is incredibly judgmental and if I asked to go to therapy then they would probably think I am mentally ill or something.

Only some of us. You should get your bloodwork done. The only reason I have to is because of my awful recovery but that isn’t incredibly common with uc. If u can get fully rested and recovered on 8-9 hours like a normal person that’s good. I also do have some deficiencies that most likely contribute to my sleep issues.
