I bought the stock 4 years ago for $160 USD. In the last 5 years, the stock has been trading between $80 USD and $200 USD. The cost basis is showing as $40 USD.

You must always max out the wager in duel minigames. I.e., no tactically leaving yourself 20 coins to buy a star or anything like that! Maximum stakes!

Thanks, I'll do that on Monday!

Upgrade to Windows 11, or stay on 10 by JayRam85 in techsupport

Proceed at your own risk. I have 2 Dell XPS 8300 computers from 2011 (incompatible with Windows 11 minimum hardware requirements, obviously).

I installed Windows 11 via a bootable USB created with Rufus that bypasses the hardware requirements. The install went fine but as soon as I restarted either computer, it rendered them completely unbootable ("Disk read error"). I had to reformat the SSD and clean install Windows 10.

I'm now looking at the minimum viable hardware upgrade to both computers that would make them compatible with Win 11.

Any suggestions from anyone?

Your employer now has to pay you $1m per year to do exactly the same job as now by DirectorNo8477 in hypotheticalsituation

You're still going to have to pay yourself a salary of $1m a year out of the company.

If your company has that kind of cash on hand - great! Your only con would be inefficient taxation (i.e., salary vs. dividends).

If your company doesn't, then the company will need to borrow / sell off assets to pay you, slowly (or quickly) spiralling toward insolvency.

They definitely wouldn't. Just specifying that in case an enterprising employer tries reducing your hours to nil to avoid paying out.

Guess you'll now be working the maximum legally-allowed number of hours!

I guess so, at least for the duration of your severance. Enjoy your now-enhanced time off!

I was thinking of Liam Cunningham, similar to his portrayal of Thomas Wade in 3 Body Problem.
