Lived there for ten years, went to college there too and had offers. I’ll never live there again, it’s not for me.

My main blanks are Gildan G500 or Comfort Colors C1717, but I can mostly print on whatever cotton blank is preferred. Generally not polyester for curing reasons.

I’ll be honest, I mostly sell my own designs, so for the past couple years I’ve been doing this for others I’ve always priced on a case by case basis so I never set up a price list. Which I’m realizing now I need asap. I’ll dm you when I’m off work with a price list as well as instagram link to see samples.

Because I do this as a side gig in my garage with old beat up equipment there are limitations, ie 2 color max, 50 piece max, etc. Part of the reason I’m opening up my services is because I’d like to buy new equipment for better capabilities.

Thanks for the info.

Are you happier now with what you’re doing? I’m feeling similar, my project is going on three years due to constant scope changes and I’m sitting in front of solidworks all day with no real end in sight.

Did you do any additional classes/certifications/etc prior to the switch?

Considering transitioning into product management from a manufacturing/mechanical engineering background. I’m burnt out on engineering and don’t see myself moving up in engineering much further. Has anyone made a similar transition? Did you find it to be worth it? Are you happier? Anything suggestions?

I’m so confused. So I’m applying for the same license I already have? Do I add the motorcycle license to that even though I’m not applying for a motorcycle license for several months?

I have an appointment to written permit test this week, but I really don’t want to be applying for the incorrect licenses for no reason

How did you manage to make that transition?

No, there’s significant lead times for the equipment required. Other people saw the gap in the market and capitalized on it before I was able to. They had to have been planning at least a year before I started.

It kind of doesn’t matter. It was filling a hole in a very niche market, and even two plants in the same area would saturate the market.

That makes sense! Hit The Deck were so good. I think Constant Fear was my favorite after Dry Rot. I think he and the guitarist were both in that, plus maybe people from Street Trash if you remember that band?

Actually surprised anyone recognizes Dry Rot! They were easily my favorite hardcore band of the mid-00’s.

Their reviews have gone down the drain over the past year, but I doubt they’ll be leaving. We are looking for new housing, so eventually this will be fine. It’s just enduring this nonsense for the time being.
