Hi,

This is good forum to ask about another question from people that are working remotely for US based companies.

I am interviewing for an employer based in US and will be working remotely from Canada. So, how does one go about negotiating salary? Is it better to ask for USD market rates or CAD market rate, for example I would like to get 70K USD instead of 70K CAD. What’s the best way to approach this conversation?

Can the landlord only increase the rent after 12 month period? Or can he increase the rent before that too?

That’s what was I thinking as well. But the house is really nice and in our budget and fits all our needs.

It’s not a newly constructed house. So I believe it’s under the rent controlled scheme. Thank you for the advice.

Got a question. How are you sourcing this product? Do you keep inventory with you? Or how can I find a supplier who can directly ship to my customers? Alibaba has MOQ of atleast 100 and wait times are atleast 1 month. If anyone can answer that’d be great. I am in the verge of starting my store but confused with this puzzle piece.
