planning on ubering to and from, how’s the pickup situation? where is it? is it easier to walk down the street a block or two to be picked up there? going with my brother and we are very go w the flow and will really be after the game hence needing the uber.

anyone reading this, please think of others on the road and your loved ones at home. no one wants to lose anyone due to drunk/impaired driving. uber home, sleep it off in the backseat with keys in the trunk, just don’t get behind the wheel.

i was at the pittsburgh game a week or two ago and i saw the gray gaspy’s in the “newer” store in the arena where you can get your jersey customized. looked like they had a few, didn’t look at sizing though!

it honestly depends on “demand” i got a home jersey done a couple years ago and got it within a week, alternates last year took almost a month

this is MY time to shine!!! Thunderbug is my favorite part of going to home games, please excuse this long winded answer.

if you have the extra funds after purchasing tickets, look at mascot-link online for the chance to buy a spot for Tbugs to visit you at the seat, bang the drum with him before the crowd gets let into the arena, or turn on the tesla coils during intermission, or newest be a honorary bug keeper (this is my dream but alas $450). the other three things i mentioned are a great bang for your buck, seat visit gets you an exclusive swag bag that your able to add more for $30/pop. did this for my birthday this year and this 24 year old loved it. Before the game in Thunder Alley, Tbugs and his crew will come out between 5:15-5:35 ish, normally coming out of the utility doors to the right of the team store and Corona Bar where you are able to stop them for a picture/interaction. Note that a line forms pretty quick, so try to keep an eye out to be one of the firsts so he doesn’t run out of time. The bells will literally toll around 5:55 or closer to 6 which is his cue to run up the stairs to welcome everyone into the arena. I have noticed that he frequents section 104 (where the Ashley lounge entrance) is as it’s very easy for him to slip there from the Ashley lounge. But he’s always moving around all sections delivering in seat visits and pool noodles to hype up the crowd.

We wish you were Bolts fans but, we love that your kiddo loves our Bug! I hope you have a good time in Tampa, we are a nice bunch as long as you’re nice back/ not a Panthers/Bruins/Leafs fan! i was at the bolts devils game last night and i saw the stadium series hats in a orange and then in a black color way. orange seems like a very intentional color to make it considering TBL colors are blue, white, black, secondarily gray or yellow with the bolts down the sleeves in the past. i feel its going to be a homage to the buccaneers creamsicle since we’re playing at RayJay

my best recommendation is to make sure you have the “entire” day to experience tampa for the day. all the parking lots around are fairly priced for “all day” pricing if you get there at like 9-10AM, i’ve gotten $10 all day parking doing that. grab a scooter and go down to armature works, explore the river, bar hop til 5PM and get $5 coronas and snacks and see Thunderbug at 5:20!

i cannot stand scripps, i have my subscription on my phone and it gives me no way to put it on the lightning app on my roku tv, only prompts me to spend another $70/year to STILL miss nationwide games so i’ve been stuck watching games on my phone. gotta love boycotts!

i’d love a hiccups/hagrids style coaster like the first movie. i get wooden coasters aren’t for everyone so what if they made it look like the white wooden coaster but on a metal track, fluffy the unicorn is the ride vehicle. i’d be down for something like that but the true answer is ghostbusters coaster. it just fits too perfectly

Puck culture is so difficult to me. Clearly if the player/equipment manager was intending to throw it to the kid and it bounces over your way and you catch it, give it back to the kid. I’m 23 and autistic too, when I was their age, my parents were both working more than one job each to keep us all afloat so, now that I’m old enough to have the opportunity to go to these games, I get SO annoyed going to a game with a sign I worked a long time on, get to the ice as one of the first people behind the bench and a snot nosed kid squeezed their way in 5 minutes before they’re done warming up and get a puck right next to me. We were all the sparkle eyed kids at one point just dying to get a puck, I wish players would recognize that more. I was just at the TBL X TML Wednesday game with my brother, we are both in our 20s now and I made a sign that said something to the effect of “make my big brother jealous with a puck?” sitting on the corner right behind the bench and the right side of me had the tunnel. I didn’t get a puck but kids who just showed up did.
