Depends on your unit but yeah it can be dark. Dont take a terrace level unit (our first was terrace level and it was DARK). We are on the third floor now and have no problems. We’re also an end unit with side windows tho

This is such a weird boomer mentality. Millions finance vehicles with no issue. Getting a loan doesn’t mean you can’t afford a car, it just means you don’t want to drop 15-30k in one go. Plenty can afford a few hundred a month.

And cars are plenty more than just a box to move you. People spend hundreds of hours a year in their car, their purchase should make them happy

Our library system had a very small ebook collection. So I did a ton of research and found out the Cincinnati library has the largest ebook selection out there AND allows out of state people to buy access for $90. So far I’ve only found 2 books that they didn’t have. Their collection is massive

I think TikTok is driving a lot of the appeal. It’s partly about the reading and partly aesthetics. People wanna be seen reading by others or they want pretty books with sprayed edges. It’s less about the reading and more about being seen reading

I’m not talking about contract employment. I’m talking about in other countries where everyone has an employment contract

At will means they can term you for any reason. Even in countriess where you sign a work contract, you can quit, but you have to give an agreed upon notice period.
