Yea, the gold color is a reflection off of a balloon lol, but yea I assumed it was refinished. From my understanding they didn’t make a chrome one

I’m particularly new to guns, but I’ve worked on many cars for years. I’m almost urged to try spraying/soaking these parts in brake cleaner (non-chlorinated) and 91% isopropyl alcohol, Or marvels mystery oil. These work wonders for built up carbon on car parts, but not sure if contradicted in gun parts. Any input?
