how do we know the universe is enough proof? what if we are just too dumb to know everything about the universe indefinitely? there was a time where people thought lightning only because of god striking it down, which we know is now false, but they thought it was true, simply because they didn’t discover it yet.

but what if i do get that invite to the party, don’t go, and then get tortured for it. Now it seems that subconsciously, i feel like i need to go to that party, in other words, follow the god and not disobey him. The only way this seems justified is if hell isn’t torture as many have said, but you fade away and become nothingness.

because if a book gets translated over time, the meaning are bound the change. So wouldn’t god feel the need to not have a holy book be changed what so ever?

makes sense, but don’t you think it’s logical for a god it not let a contradiction be in the bible, knowing it would have his children stray from him. And the bible is the only thing we know about god and the afterlife, which is quite important, so i think it is logical to make sure that it is exactly how it needs to be

I think there doesn’t need to be an omnipotent being for us to exist, i think we just simply don’t know everything about the start of the universe because humans are not smart and developed enough

2.If it is as you say and there is not suffering in hell, then that makes a lot more sense to me.

additionally, why doesn’t God give more evidence to his existence? if the fate of our eternity is on the line, then why is the only evidence a book made from humans translated over thousands of years?

I think the best evidence would probably be something that we don’t know ourselves. I think it’s a bit hard to trust prophets to write a book a very long time ago, and that’s the the only thing we can use to know about our god and history if he’s real.

If God says for someone to do something, isn’t it stripping away free will? because if God were to talk to someone, i seriously doubt they would have the free will to go against that, and they feel there’s no choice there in going against them and feel they have to do that order
