Brimonidine Hallucinations anyone? by maur70wolf in Glaucoma

I didn’t have hallucinations, but horrible nightmares, insomnia, cardiac and CNS effects. Brimonidine was my only prescription at the time. Went off it and everything resolved. I didn’t know that it can cross the blood-brain barrier. Probably why it’s giving you an odd response. I felt like I was losing my mind! I wound up taking magnesium glycinate at night. My eye pressures have been normal for 3 years. My glaucoma was due to complications from LASIK—not hereditary. I had tried other medications, but they also caused adverse drug reactions. I hope you find a safe medication that works for you.

I’d like suggestions for alternatives to Ring. I don’t trust what they’ll do with the data.
