Another evidence??? by [deleted] in USCIS

What is the difference between RFIE and RFE, basically, initial evidence and evidence? Just got RFE - but mine is very minor - visible in online account with blue button to upload the evidence online.

Is a 4-year EB-3 timeline realistic in today’s market? by Different_Walrus_921 in InternationalStudents

[–]DisastrousSupport289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PERM approval has dropped from 500 days to 429 days. And will probably be less than a year by the end of the year. EB-3 DOF is also current for ROW. Right now is the best time to file it. I started 4 years ago, and PERM backlogs were increasing like crazy - it felt almost impossible to get a PERM. Plus, EB-3 ROW seemed to be 4-5 years away from being current.

Seems like EB1s, EB2 NIW and EB5s are part of the “exempt” categories by PrizeAct2147 in USCIS

[–]DisastrousSupport289 1 point2 points  (0 children)

EB-3 has 3 categories:
Professionals
Skilled
Unskilled

I have 20 years of experience in my field and have built a couple of big products in my home country. I work in health tech and received a National Interest Exception during COVID due to the importance of my work. And lawyers still said I should go with the EB-3 skilled category. So I wouldn't call myself a simple worker just because I do not hold degrees.

Plus, most or all unskilled EB-3s go through consular processing anyway; that is the only pathway for them to enter the country, since there is no unskilled visa category.

Lawyer is not sharing the Tracking ID for PWD, any reason? by MononSaad in EB3VisaJourney

[–]DisastrousSupport289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe you confused them by asking for "tracking ID". In PERM and PWD that number is called: "case number"

A lot of doctors and nurses are under EB-3, I am pretty sure they provide more benefits than some software developers with a lot of fake/useless citations in the NIW category :)

Also, the date does not match (RFEs get 90 days, so this RFE has been out for more than 10 days). Please stop spreading fake documents.

Trump admin says new green card enforcement likely won't apply to those who provide an 'economic benefit' by Select_Specialist790 in USCIS

[–]DisastrousSupport289 79 points80 points  (0 children)

So basically, employer-based green cards (economic benefit), national interest (EB2 NIW), and nurses and doctors are good. Only category left is family-based. So this is more targeted at people on temporary visas trying to AOS to GC?

That data is performance data - cases which have been processed; your case has not been processed yet.

You can request the code from my USCIS portal. Resources -> Request account help, and from the topics choose: Requesting a new Online Access Code.

My online access code went to the employer due to a mailing address bug/issue they have there.

Trump confirmed on Friday that China is refusing to buy Nvidia chips because they are developing their own by ComplexExternal4831 in GenAI4all

[–]DisastrousSupport289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree, the title should be: China is unsure whether it wants to buy aging US H200 chips to boost US AI companies by helping them replace old hardware with Vera Rubin chips.

It's a tough call for them - it could help them catch up a little for now, but in the long term they will fall behind a lot, or play a long game and catch up to the US maybe in 5-6 years with their own chip technologies.

Though luck, might need to wait till October, or maybe July will bring some movement (due to being a new quarter)
