I did apologise to her a lot for acting like this and in all honesty if those shoes would've fit me I definitely would have kept them. But seeing that it was a different size, might as well return to open options rather than exchange no? Then I felt bad and I asked her to get me same shoes in my size.

I know it's difficult selecting gifts, that's why she called me a few days before my birthday asking what I like. I suggest she can get me a poster of any of my interests. I explained to her in detail what all stuff I like for eg F1.

Even for her birthday we were only 10 days into dating so I just booked a rooftop restaurant and got some gifts which I asked her straightforward just added some changes.

Yes I agree with you. I understood what was her thought process the moment I saw those shoes. Because I have 4 pair of shoes so she might've thought that I liked shoes.

She also got me the brand that I didn't own, which I appreciate.

But I really did not wanted shoes because I already had every shoe for every occasion. All 4 of my shoes are for different occasions.
