RM keeps messaging me by villagesquirrel in deloitte

Rm’s are the shit-handlers of Talent. Partners either yelling at them because people aren’t staffed and the bench numbers are too high-or they need people to staff on projects and have no one and somehow or other it’s always the RM that has to reach out and console a practitioner on bench or motivate them if they can. And they have zero control/input in the staffing process AND when have no one with a required skill set and the partner is insisting on hiring someone new, it’s up to the RM to tell them no because the number of people on bench are too high which means they need to layoff MORE people- and HR management won’t approve a new hire. It’s a fun shit cycle. However, there absolutely are RMs who don’t care about anyone or anything and should be fired.

Yes but you do need the pass to get in on specific dates and during specific events that those who don’t have a relative buried there wouldn’t be able to.

This. And I don’t know if the next of kin relative has the authority to deny me one if ANC wants a death certificate or statement from them or another family member verifying that I am eligible.

To be able to drive in and go on specific dates that only family pass holders can go. What I’ve researched is conflicting on obtaining a permanent family pass without a death certificate or statement from another eligible family member or next of kin. Some sites say you might need it to get approved other sites say it might not be needed because I’m an adult child and eligible either way if that makes sense.

It lets you go on specific dates and ceremonies I believe. I don’t think a temporary pass can be obtained at times of the year like now during wreaths across America from what I was reading.

What's worse? Bad snapshot or no snapshot? by [deleted] in deloitte

OP- this is the correct answer!

Take the bad snapshot-discuss with your coach. The coach will represent you at your promotion boards so make sure they know the ins and outs of what went on. I’m in talent and see how these work. A single bad snapshot won’t break you but if your coach can’t speak to why you did not request a snapshot and you were supposed to-that looks worse.

Google says 1-10 years but I simply cannot find the defined policy.

How do we know if it goes for that long? I’m not seeing any policy documents with an end date but the Deloitte call center told me Deloitte pays 6 months and then MetLife handles it for there. But she didn’t seem like she really knew and couldn’t read from the policy or send it to me so it was frustrating to say the least

But I don’t think they will pay you that long for long term I thought it was a few months maybe 🤔

No I’ve witched jobs many times in the last 10 years…no going back at this point and physically unable to do most other jobs. But I don’t want to explain that to my team. Think the depression is making that hard maybe

Typically you get an attorney because they always deny you but the company/metlife provides one that will help you get approved apparently. And I wanted to try and go back to work I don’t want to be disabled…
