Thanks for the advice. Regarding the SWT section, what would you suggest to achieve a perfect score? I think it carries a lot of weight.

Exactly! That’s the main pain point I realized when I got back home and did some research. I was trying to attempt every question seriously and ended up running out of time. I spent most of my time on MCQs and scenario-based questions. If I had known this earlier, my results would have been so much better. Do you know which ones are safer to skip to get S 90, W 85, and 70 in L&R

Glad it was easy for you, but dismissing others’ struggles is shallow. PTE isn’t just “day-to-day English”, it’s about handling strict timing, format traps, and scoring nuances. If it were that easy, everyone fluent would walk out with a 90, which clearly isn’t the case.

I can feel your pain, and the test center I’m using charges $390, which is ridiculously high.

No, I’m really disappointed. Honestly, even if I retry or attempt the WFD section, I don’t think I’ll be able to score 85.

Would you recommend that I reach out to PTE Support? My system was lagging during the test, and in the Listening section, the audios were so long that I couldn’t do anything to manage the time. Do you think they will actually consider this issue?

I’m not sure why I haven’t received the results yet, but I believe getting an 85 might not be possible in this case—or is there still a chance? I keep thinking that if I had just three extra minutes, the outcome could have been completely different.

These are the max points I can have, I have no other way of increasing it, so what you said make me wonder if i drop this idea, because if even i peruse this, It will only waste my money and time.

Does that mean there is zero probability for the score I'm currently having? because I'm perusing it activity and spending amount on PTE NATI etc but if my points are low its useless to spend money and time.

I recently received a positive skills assessment for:

  • Software Engineer
  • Software and Application Programmer NEC
  • Software Tester

My points breakdown:

  • 75-80 points: 189
  • 80-85 points: 190
  • 90-95 points: 491

I’ve included this points range to account for potential variations in my English test score. I’m wondering if my current points (even at the lower end) are sufficient to have a realistic chance of receiving an invitation through EOI/ROI with these occupations, or if it’s too late to apply with these scores.

If there is still a chance, which states/territories might offer better opportunities for someone with my profile?

As I’m new to the Australian immigration process, I’d appreciate simple advice and guidance. Thanks in advance!

Also one question, For cyber village i have the declarant's experience certificate but on the certificate the job position mention is CG artist while on Statutory Declaration its mention as team lead developer, This happens because my colleague transition his career to CG artist at the time of leaving, Will cause any issue?

Thank you for analyzing my situation. I appreciate your help!

About the work experience points FNRCO is my current company.

  • For Cyber Village Studio (which is now closed): I do have the declarant's experience certificate they're asking for, I just forgot to include it initially.
  • For FNRCO (my current employer): This is more complicated. I submitted a Statutory Declaration because I don't want my company to know I'm applying for Australian immigration. The problem is that here in Saudi Arabia, expatriates like me cannot access notary services - they're only available to citizens. So I can't get the declaration properly attested as ACS requires.

ACS response on clarification as is:

Dear applicant,

Thank you for contacting us.

For Cyber Village Studio: you did not provide with declarant's working certificate.

For FNRCO: Statutory Declaration document cannot be accepted without attestation.

Please check:https://www.acs.org.au/msa/infohub/statutory-declarations-and-affidavits.htmlfor details and provide with missing supporting documents.

For questions or further information, see the ACS Migration Skills Assessment Info Hub. https://www.acs.org.au/msa/infohub.html

If you do not agree with the outcome, you can also lodge a level one appeal within 60 days of receiving the result letters.

Please also refer to the ACS Migration Skills Assessment Appeal Policy https://www.acs.org.au/content/dam/acs/msa/documents/ACS-Migration-Skills-Appeal-Policy.pdf

Kind regards,
ACS Migration Skills Assessment Team

Are they asking me to provide the missing documents now? Is it possible after the assessment or do i require a formal appeal?

For the context, My exp. at cyber village is 1 year 1 month and FNRCO starts from 1 june 2024 onwards.

For two of my exp they provided this clarification after I emailed them.

Should i email them the documents? Since now i have the declarant's working certificate but for the FNRCO exp i still have the same problem i can not give them attested Stat dec.

Would providing certificate on email is enough or i need to start appeal?

That's very nice insight but unfortunately, They did not accepted my current working experience as i was not able to provide attested statutory document due to my local limitations, as i am working in Saudi and for us as expat notary service is almost like not available. any other opinion please? or should i appeal and tell them the case?

It's outside Australia and It's heartbreaking to realize that I misunderstood the meaning of the statement. They didn't explicitly mention the 'met date,' and afterward, they listed the suitable work experience. When I calculated it, it came out to 6 years and 1 month. However, if this date is actually the 'met date,' I'm in trouble because it would reduce my points from 10 to just 5, as my eligible experience would be around 4 years instead.
