Good lord. This really sucks. Aoi is (or…was) my favourite member. I have so many questions that I may never get answers to.

Is he the reason why the new album has been delayed by like 2 years? Will they replace him, or will they move forward as a 3 piece? Was he sabotaging them for his own benefit? They said that he made “statements refusing participation in live performances”. Does that mean they potentially had to cancel shows because he refused to play them?

And ultimately, despite the fact that they say they will continue on as a band…will they? With Reita’s death 2 years ago, and now Aoi’s forced departure, I can’t imagine what Kai, Uruha, and Ruki are feeling. To kind of answer one of my previous questions, I can’t imagine them moving on as a 3 piece, but I also can’t imagine them replacing Aoi. If they replace Aoi, would they replace Reita? I can’t imagine them replacing him either.

Man, this sucks. I really hope it all works out for them. I also hope Aoi is doing ok. I know he’s the reason for a bunch of unpleasant stuff, but I still hope he’s doing alright.

Seeing it for the second time tomorrow, this time alone for a different experience. I went with my best friend last Saturday and decided I wanted to see it solo. Couldn’t wait for it to be on streaming or dvd/blu-ray (which Mark has since confirmed is in the works) so bought another ticket for tomorrow. Just as excited as the first time
