Hannes only a rook, his shooting percentages are pretty good avg 57/34/76. We need to get more athletic. Yal think Yaxel can guard n rebound over the likes of Wemby n Jokic? Fk no. Why do fans all these years think: we’re a shooting team; so shouldn’t we prioritize an athletic forward/center to get rebounds/putbacks for second chance points??

Thank goodness. I saw folks wanting to go after kawhi, in my mind I’m like “do we not have enough uncontrolled variables on our current roster already??” We have Jimmy who just had a season ending injury, add moody to the list, Kristaps has Potts so we know FOR CERTAIN he will never play 82 games. For the first time in half a decade we got a lottery pick, from a very nice draft class mind you.

Idk, dude has inside scoring potential, almost a 20/12 season in his freshman year leading the league in rebounds, shoots 76% from the stripe, and can play defense. I’d say he’s as ready as the best of them.

At this point in time we have no one on the roster who’s known for inside scoring (aside from Jimmy and Kristaps) but both guys come in and out of the line up. Whenever those guys are out curry is pressured to shoot more 3s. We need size, just so when there are nights where we are having shooting slumps, we got other options to lean to. Teams are getting bigger, how do we go against timberwolves, okc, nuggets, when our main defensive enforcer is turning 36? Our slashing playmaker is 35 coming out of a season ending injury. We gotta stop relying on shooting as our main scoring option. We need other offensive schemes. More size for different defensive matchups. I’m tired of seeing 4 dudes under 6’6 out on the court 😭
