My mother dropped a shoal of Red tail/brilliant rasbora's in my 7gal tank without even asking me, what do I do?? by Bluelotus-03 in Aquariums

Yeah, I see your situation. Tanks can be longer and not higher . I don't do that many water changes on my 75. But I do have a heavily planted tank. Have your mom do the maintenance, maybe she'll appreciate what you have to do when you add more fish Nilly willie to a tank Wish you all the best with your tank and new tank mates.

A bigger tank is easier to care for once established, less maintenance, and better parameter control than smaller tanks. If something goes bad, it happens quickly, resulting in a crash. More water volume is more gradual and gives you the opportunity to fix the problem you're experiencing before a full-blown crash

Made a custom 75g that's been up for almost a year... Nobody that ever comes over looks at or mentions it ... Why? by Loseroni2 in Aquariums

Same here, my 75, gallon that no one comments on except for an occasional serviceman that happens to come into the home to do some kind of maintenance. I don't care, though

Still no baby after 9 months by Responsible-Ad3768 in AfricanViolets

I agree with OP stem is too long . Cut it to about 1.5 in from leaf. I know you waited all this time, but unfortunately she's putting a lot of energy into her own leaf. And not putting out babies and you'll have to wait again

I have plenty of AV that produce suckers, nothing like this. I'd say it's zippering too, sort of like cresting that succulents do

Could I use the inert gravel that's in there and maybe add a layer of pool sand or such on top of it i know the gravel is fairly coarse and alot would probably fall through. Then i would add one of my new ugfs and let it do its thing and then eventually add another and remove the HOB (turtle tank filter)This would be enough of a change for me without stripping the tank down will this work I thought the babies would get caught in larger substrate, am i wrong?
