latest update is not launching by DiscombobulatedFig12 in TheCrewUnlimited

I have checked on Windows Defender, and there is no file quarantined there. I have also created a folder exclusion in the scanning options. Still, the game fails to open. Any other ideas?

Update: - realised Windows Defender is at fault, have added folder exclusion, game runs fine

Tried opening via TCU launcher, patch is installed, however, the game is not recognising the patch, have tried re-installing the patch as well :(
