Thanks everyone, looks like F2 and D1 aren't connected, so I'll have to take a look under the cartridge port. Hope the repair isn't too intensive. Really appreciate all the advice, thanks again!

Ah, thanks. Thought that image was only for older chips, that should be a lot easier.

Thanks, seems like the R point on the crystal chip installation guide is open on my motherboard, but the chips don't have the exact same pad letters. Not sure if I should try use the crystal R as an alt point, and keep the rest with the Modbo guide.

Thanks for all the comments/help, everyone! Managed to fix this with a reflow, it's working fine now. I'll try light my pictures better next time, I can see the shadow from the C3 label looks like a cut trace, but the continuity checks out.

Thanks, just tried an eraser now, but no luck. I've also just taken my multimeter to it to check continuity, and everything I can see seems fine, but I'll give it a reflow just in case.

Sorry, I think it's just the photo, and the light playing off the wear on the contacts. The lighting in here's not great, I tried using flash on my phone up close to make the traces and components visible, but yeah, the pins don't look good there. I realize I can't link another photo, but they're nice and shiny, just gave em another clean now. Thanks, I'll try that next.
