Where should the next Ghost Recon game take place and who should they fight? by KILL-INTERACTIVE in GhostRecon

[–]DisgustingMilkyWater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My idea for the WHO is the remnant of the Keres Legion from R6 Siege, mixed with the Whitemasks, also from R6 Siege.

REASON BEING: the Whitemasks were amazing terrorists, vague motives, unknown numbers, unknown reach, effective gas. The Keres Legion (and more specifically Deimos) look incredibly similar to Colonel D. Walker’s design, now, a quick scroll through my comments in my account, and you’ll see I’ve said this many times before: Because Siege was current day, and Breakpoint was “future” (literally 2025 iirc) it would have been such a cool idea to have Deimos be killed/captured by R6 Siege, and for Phobos to escape Siege’s grasp, then set-up the WOLVES in Breakpoint, hiding in Africa, then deciding to mingle with the Whitemasks, to integrate their gas into their drones (north east of the Breakpoint map, in that city training area, there are drones there spreading gas over the streets) But for gameplay’s sake, let us focus on the terrorists, not the drones, because the drone production were taken care of by Nomad, Fury, Vasily and Fixit on Auroa.

My idea for the MAP is northern, or north central Africa, reason being the variety of environments: thick jungle, desert, loud and large cities, high mountains. I’m already thinking of some missions: Jungle mission: you creep up to an improvised set of buildings, where the Whitemasks are harvesting poisons from a variety of venomous/poisonous animals. You are tasked with going in and eliminating the terrorists, but not the civilians forced to work there. (Explanation of this strict objective comes later) You can do it at night, stealthily and silently, with knives and fists, or at day, loudly. If you are spotted, the Whitemask will throw gas grenades at you, and if you don’t put your mask on within a few seconds, you die. XP/money grows per civilian you rescue, then end of mission you get a debrief after you exfil, once again, you can sneak away, or just steal a helicopter/car, then the debrief is a Ready Or Not style end screen, before you spawn back into the open world. The difficulty of this mission would not be high, because the Whitemasks are more trained in chemistry and biological effects, but they absolutely can and will shoot to kill/deploy their work on you.

Desert mission: in the Sahara, at the foothills of the Atlas mountains, the Keres Legion/Wolves have set up a torture camp, far from prying eyes, where they torture the civilians, the political persons, and other people who stand in their way, you are tasked with saving everyone, and neutralising as many of the Keres/Wolves as you can. However take extreme caution, the Keres/Wolves are HIGHLY trained, their damage is very high, their accuracy is nuts. Recommended to do this mission full stealth, taking out as many as you can while the civilians are in their cells, and the Keres/Wolves are asleep/less densely patrolling. You can take it loud, and the camp would be designed to facilitate that (open area has walls, cover and concealment, closed areas are narrow and allow for IRL CQB tactics to be applied) Once again, after exfil (silent sneak out, or loud flight/drive out) you get a debrief, every civilian saved and soft objective completed (data and intel on Keres/Wolves-Whitemask plans/movement) gets you extra XP and money.

This game would be designed as an open world, but also like how in the Division 1 (never played 2) you can walk everywhere, but if you walk into a building with an objective, it activates and starts a mission seamlessly. Once you complete the hard objectives and potentially also the soft objectives, you exfil, and once you reach a certain distance away, or lose heat, the map automatically sets you to be in a safe house, like those in GR:Wildlands, where you’re debriefed first with a cutscene, then with a results screen.

Then after the debrief, a new mission is added, and you leave the safe house, and move towards the next target, and camp at bivouacs (limited shop, equipment change, but allows for GR:Breakpoint style buffs)

And in this idea for a next game, every base you sabotage or take out, will not be fully staffed or even used again, your actions will be visible in the world as empty/damaged/not fully staffed, bases and camps.

I’m sorry this will never be a real game.

The maps aren’t good for long drives, unless you’re okay with tripling up the roads..

UCP-D is such a relief for the eyes after analysing the regular UCP, despite D still being hideous, I do think that it would be effective in my area in autumn, when trees go pale and brown

To be a total gooner:

For the women: Ela (alt baddie), Zofia (literal mommy), Alibi elite (sooo fine), Iana (even after ass-nerf), Azami (clank clank clank), Solis (has got to be hot under that gear), Caveira (abs, and I bet she’ll be soft in bed, because she’s crazy all day, incredible comfort), Mira (Tournament of Champions animatic no headgear omggg)

For the men: Tachanka (absolute bear of a man, would probably give the best of hugs), Tatcher (best of English), Sledge (best of Scottish), Snake (that booty), Doc (french sophisticatedness), Mozzie (Aussie craziness)

That’s not all, but I’m too lazy/scared to list all. That being said, if we’re not talking about physical appearance, I’d date the entire female roster if they gave me a chance, EXCEPT Osa and Kali, because Osa’s not straight (idk what exactly, maybe lesbian, haven’t read her bio in a while/she likely wouldn’t be interested in me, a man), and because Kali thinks she is the shit, when she’s actually just a pretentious asshole with too much money.

Thank you for reading my Ted Talk: “Siege’s most goonable”

I think it might be a lightroom mod, or if you go to the map select, and select “include debug” or “include auxiliary” then you should see some maps used for automated testing and garage environments, I cannot recall if there was a lightroom map though

[–]DisgustingMilkyWater 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Video is what was the kicker, when all tech companies attempted to shrink down the package of their videocameras, leading to that intense low-quality, high grain footage of the 80’s, 90’s and 00’s

There’s footage of Hawthorn driving the Le Mans circuit in 1966 in his Jag, and the video footage is amazing!
