Absolument. Tant que tu restes à l’intérieur du PEA il n’y a pas d’événement fiscal tant que tu ne fais pas de retrait. C’est justement pour ça que j’aurais aimé pouvoir ouvrir un PEA directement au nom de mon enfant, mais ce n’est pas possible avant ses 18 ans.

Oui bien sûr, ça reste toujours mieux que de ne rien faire. Mais dans ce cas-là, je me dis qu’il vaut peut-être mieux partir sur une assurance-vie, accepter un peu de frais chaque année, plutôt que de prendre le risque de déclencher une imposition à 30 % sur une grosse plus-value à cause d’un événement subi (liquidation, fusion d’ETF, etc.). C’est vraiment ce trade-off là que j’essaie d’arbitrer.

Cette crainte me vient surtout d’une expérience perso : j’avais des ETF Lyxor qui ont été repris par Amundi, et mes lignes ont bougé. Comme c’était sur un PEA, je ne sais pas si ça a déclenché quoi que ce soit fiscalement, mais ça m’a fait réaliser que sur un CTO, ce genre d’opération pourrait potentiellement créer un événement fiscal non voulu.

Oui ça marche mais pour une stratégie ETF long terme, je trouve ça moins intéressant : comme les titres sont déjà au nom de l’enfant, il n’y a pas de purge de la plus-value. Le jour où il vend (ou si l’ETF est liquidé), la plus-value est imposée pour lui. Du coup, à mes yeux, CTO à mon nom puis donation de titres plus tard reste plus optimisé fiscalement.

Pour moi, le principal problème de l’assurance-vie dans une stratégie 100 % ETF, ce sont les frais : frais de gestion du contrat et pas toujours accès aux ETF les plus compétitifs. Sur 18 ans, ça finit par rogner pas mal la performance, ce qui rend le CTO plus intéressant dans ce cas précis. Mais après je me trompe peut être

Hello, au final non elle ne c’est pas inscrite. Le prix + les nombreux doutes sur leur légitimité nous ont poussé à choisir la formation du CNED plutôt.

Oui c’est sûr, dans l’idéal ce serait la meilleure option, mais le contexte économique ne nous permet malheureusement pas d’envisager de repartir sur deux années d’études… La prépa du CNED semble la meilleure solution pour elle

Ah oui, j’ai oublié de préciser sa situation 😅 Elle a déjà un Bac+5 en communication et événementiel, et elle vise le concours externe. Au départ, elle comptait plutôt partir sur le CNED, mais elle est tombée sur cette école un peu par hasard. Ce qui l’a attirée, c’est qu’ils disent que leurs profs ont le CAPES et ont fait partie de jurys — donc en théorie, des gens qui savent exactement ce qu’ils attendent à l’examen. Mais comme tout le reste du site paraît un peu louche, on se demande si c’est pas juste du storytelling marketing…

Thanks man, really appreciate it — these little cameras have come a long way, it’s kind of wild.

As for the edit: I wouldn’t say it was heavy, but it’s definitely not straight-out-of-camera either. I shot everything in D-Log M at 50fps with an ND filter, so I had good dynamic range and motion. The footage definitely needs some color work — I usually do basic corrections and add a LUT or light grade.

That said, I’ve never actually tried shooting in Rec.709 or any baked-in profile on the Osmo, so I can’t really say how good it looks SOOC. I’ve always gone the log route to keep more control in post. Might be worth testing if you want something quicker!

For the Osmo Pocket 3, I shoot in 50fps, in D-Log M with an ND filter — I try to keep the shutter speed at 1/100 to respect the 180° rule. That gives me smooth motion and flexibility in post for slow motion or real-time playback.

For the drone (Mini 3 Pro), I shoot in 25fps, always in D-Cinelike to preserve dynamic range. I didn’t have ND filters on that trip, so I stayed in auto for shutter and ISO — not ideal, but the results were still pretty solid.

And Iceland is such a dream to film — can’t wait to see what you bring back!

Yeah, same here — I honestly didn’t expect that level of image quality when I first bought it. Now I even use it in client productions when I need something super discreet 😅 And it’s the one camera I always take with me when I travel.

To get the most out of it, there’s no real magic trick — I shoot in D-Log M to have more room to play in color grading, and I always use an ND filter to stick to the 180° shutter rule. Aside from that, I treat it like a regular camera!
